Spring: first regular mows, feed lawns once frosts ease, weed before weeds seed, and clear gutters and leaf litter before the bush fire danger period starts on 1 October.

Most of the Blue Mountains is bushfire-prone land. Leaf-filled gutters, long grass and dead undergrowth near the house are what embers ignite. We clear it before the danger period begins.
- Gutters and roof valleys cleared
- Leaf litter raked from around the house
- Long grass and fine fuels removed
From 20 metres to over 1,000 metres
Our service area spans very different climates. A Richmond lawn and a Blackheath lawn need different care, so we plan every visit around your altitude.
| Area | Approx. elevation | Frost | Typical lawns |
|---|---|---|---|
| Upper Mountains (Wentworth Falls to Mt Victoria) | 870–1,065 m | Heavy, May–Sept | Cool-season (fescue, rye) |
| Mid Mountains (Woodford to Lawson) | 560–730 m | Regular | Mixed |
| Lower Mountains (Glenbrook to Faulconbridge) | 165–440 m | Light | Kikuyu, couch, buffalo |
| Hawkesbury (Richmond to Bilpin) | 20–600 m | Light, heavier on river flats | Warm-season |
Common questions
Which areas do you service?
All Blue Mountains towns from Glenbrook to Mount Victoria, plus Kurrajong, Kurrajong Heights, Bilpin, North Richmond and Richmond in the Hawkesbury. See all service areas.
Are quotes free?
Yes. We visit, look at the garden with you and give a fixed price before any work starts.
Do you take away green waste?
Yes. Clippings, prunings and leaf litter leave with us unless you'd like them kept for compost or mulch.
Can you help get my property ready for bushfire season?
Yes. We clear gutters, leaf litter, long grass and fine fuels around the home. See bushfire preparation.
Do you do regular visits or one-off jobs?
Both. Many customers book fortnightly or monthly maintenance, and we also do one-off clean-ups, hedge trims and pre-sale tidy-ups.
